Tweaking out yellow lightpollution? ...

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I gave the Milky Way another shot... The picture is nice and dark, up until the moment I start playing with curves and levels in Photoshop. The image increase in detail, but it also increase in a disgusting yellow tint. The result below is the absolutely best I could do, and it sucks. :( My skies here are pretty dark too, but it seems they are not dark enough for the milky way huh? Or is my tecnique wrong?

6  x 2 minute exposures. 6 darks, 6 bias. iso 800.

Oh, and 6 flat-fields, which made the picture turn out like this:

Is it suppose to look like this straight out of DeepSkyStacker, or have I done something very very wrong?

All input is appreciated. :)

Sincerely, Alveprinsen.
