First Light with 1000D

Got my bargain second hand Canon EOS 1000D (just over £100) and hooked it up to my refractor. First efforts with it on M45, quick process in Photoshop. Probably warrants revisiting the levels and curves a bit but just wanted to see what was in there!

Thats a great start! Stars are nice and round. What exposure length did you use? I think you washed them out with either PS or to long of exposures.

cheers, yeah my subs were 30 seconds at ISO 1600. Way too high I think.
