I was thinking about taking my 9x50 finder on holiday as a travel scope. It's mounted on a standard SW dovetail but mounting this to a 1/4" standard monopod screw is a problem. I have purchased a spare dovetail but this needs to be mated to the 1/4" thread of the monopod. All I really need is a small aluminium plate with a hole that is threaded 1/4" which I could araldite to the base of the dovetail.

Is anyone aware of such a thing?!

I have also obtained a 1/4" - 3/8" ring which could be araldited into a small wood or aluminium block but a ready-made item would be preferable.
