Monorail focuser on a Skywatcher MN190

Hallo to you all!

I´m new to telescopes etc though I´ve read a great deal on the subject. I plan to buy a Skywatcher MN190 next month and I´ve read in this forum that the focuser is a weak point and tha many have substituted the original focuser with a Monorail. Now I wonder if you can use the original baseplate with the new focuser?
