Hello Stargazers - New to Astronomy, starting with a vintage scope

Sounds like you have found a nice piece of hardware there and you should have some nice dark sky locations around your area in which to get the best from it.

I have made upwards of 40 visits to CT (work related) and away from the bigger towns/cities ( Hartford, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury etc) I always saw some great skies and wished I had a scope with me.

I was blown away by the skies up around Litchfield Hills, Mount Frissnell and Bear mountain... Lots of nice horses up that way too.
