Guest Speaker: "The Story of Elementary Particle Physics" - Fred Loebinger School of Physics and Astronomy, The University of Manchester

Tuesday 4th June 2013

Workshop: "Telescopes"

Our experts will help overhaul your telescope. Tuitions to include collimation and demo's on polar alignment. All telescopes are welcome including Goto's.

Tuesday 2nd July 2013

"End of Summer Star Party"

Weather permitting the society will be outdoors viewing the sun in hydrogen alpha.

Tuesday 13th August 2013

Guest Speaker: "Grabbing Images from a Light-Polluted Sky" - Steve Warbis, Macclesfield AS

Steve will be talking us through his theories and thoughts on how to image through light polluted skies.

These events take place at Ladybridge Community Centre, Beaumont Drive, Bolton BL3 4RZ starting at 7:30pm. Non-members £2. Everyone welcome. Just turn up on the night.
