I've been using this for a couple of months and thought it time to give a quick review.

I fitted this to the single speed focuser supplied with the Skywatcher 6" Newtonian and found that fitting was an easy job although the instructions that came with it were of no help. As others have said the battery department could do with being slightly bigger.

I have seen other reviews where complaints have been made that even at the fastest speed the movement is really slow but to me this is more than offset by the convenience of being able to achieve focus without the image jumping all over the place.

The one complaint I have is that the velcro backing won't sick to the OTA, I may consider self adhesive number plate pads as a substitute.

Overall I'm very happy with this piece of gear.

Bought some self adhesive number plate pads from Halfords, works a treat, job done!!
