Finder guider

I am curious if people use a visual finder scope when using a finder guider? If so, do you have two finder scopes on the telescope at the same time or do you find the target visually using a visual finder and then swap?

I was using the same finder scope as a visual finder and finder guider. I did this by amalgamating an Orion RACI finder and a Stellarvue finder, as this was the only way I could get focus with both my camera and visually. However, this meant I had to use the star diagonal on the finder scope, which added two much instability for the finder guider.

I am now going to try a finder guider made out of an old binocular which I will swap with the visual finder.

No need for a visual finder - I use a GOTO scope and use plate solving to align the model.
