Background streaks, Help!

The data set I already have is, I think, a write-off still not too big a loss, as it's only 80 min.

Keep it Dave, it is most likely still useful in a greater stack, as the galaxy signal should improve from it, and as long as the background can be controlled it may well add to the 'Final Edit'.

OK. I'll have a play and see what I can do with it.

I *can* push the background down to lose the banding, but that also looses some of the faint details.

Well, this is the best I can do ATM.

Stacked in DSS using Entropy Weighted and Dark Optimisation. Cropped, then worked on a little in DPP

There's still some banding in the corner where NGC 5377 is lurking. I suppose if I cropped that out I could get a darker background, Dunno.

Oh, and a guide package will have to wait, I just got my bank statement this morning
