Hi everyone and many thanks for the great welcome. Never expected that!

Just bought a Canon 60Da then the f##$%^^% rains came in.But I do have a full spectrum chip in the 40D and currently seting up a 12" F4 RFT on a Paramount GT1100 mount and the C14 fastar with SBIG 237A CCD on a new Losmandy Titan mount.

While I specialise in Astro Photog. I also carry out Asteroid and SN hunting.

Thirty years ago, I set out to build an Eq. mount to carry a humble 12" F6 Newt. but ended up constructing a mount to take 350kgs payload.

I will post some pics of all this on the Equipment SGL forums. If I can help anyone in their hobby, I will as I live and breathe astronomy.
