Telrad...Double Vision...

Hi,

Has anyone encountered this problem with a Telrad:

When switched on the Telrad circles have a double effect...a brighter set and a duller set the duller set slightly above and to the right hand side...so almost gives a blurry effect...it only just appeared today...

I tried to take a picture but it did not show both clearly...

Thanks to all who can make suggestions or give answers...

Dirt If I wipe mine in a hurry and smear it I will get a double image, one from the back surface and one from the dirty front surface. A more careful wipe with a tissue should sort it.
