RGB + lum from a DSLR?

My new DSLR (samsung GX10) has inbuilt digital colour filters.

Could I then take 4 shots of my subject , one each of RGB then one black and white for luminescence, then process them on the pc as per normal.

or alternatively take the shots using different colour filters fitted to the lense or the scope adaptor and one black and white image.

Would this give me a noise advantage over just shooting 1 shot colour for longer exposures?
