Fitting a polarscope to a CG5 Mount???

Hello folks,

Am currently attempting to fit my new polarscope to my CG5 mount, but the instructions in the booklet as well as on the Celestron website are not very clear. Have looked closely at both the mount and polarscope to see if I can suss it out, but looks a little tricky to me. Don't want to start getting heavy handed with anything just in case I damage something.

Currently trying to remove the existing unit on the back of the mount, but it is stuck solid. There are a few very small allen screws and grub screws, but they don't appear to have anything to do with the removal of the unit from the mount. As far as I can see it should just unscrew off the mount and the polarscope attached in it's place.

My polarscope just screws into my EQ5 (clone of CG5) mount - as you say there is a piece that screws out (looks like it may take a smaller polarscope) and my polarscope screws into its place.

Thanks chaps. Have got this sorted now. Always better to ask the question if you are not sure:-)
