Is there any advantage in changing from PS7 to PS CS2 ?

I would say that there is an advantage but only to the experienced user.

CS2 obviously has some features that PS7 doesn't but i would say that it is definitely for the advanced user...

Take It!

Experience the difference and if you don't like it you can always return to PS7 without having wasted a lot of dosh.

I concur with CW here John. If the (cheap) purchase means you forego upgrades and tech support, and you don't mind that limitation, then go for it. I would. I have CS2, and even though I don't use it to it's potential, it is plain to see it's capabilities. Wonderful software, and not difficult to understand why it is expensive to buy.

PSP7 vs CS2... no contest... three words -> "Noel Carboni's Tools"

I am going to run both

One thing about CS2 is that move,layers,merging etc will work with 16 bit images but PS7 only works in 8 bit.
