Hello Peter, welcome to SGL. I am near Maldon in a little village, and like you, seem to have pretty good skies, when they're not obscured by clouds that is!

Like Knobby said, there are few of us round and about, and I think there is going to be a get together soon in Dengie, have a look at the Essex Cloud Dodgers group and see if you fancy getting involved.
