Hi All,

Been away from the game for awhile and looking to get back into things. I have a WO 66SZ and am looking for a bigger apo for visual use and DSO photography. I have an option on a HEQ5 Synscan mount and was thinking of using the WO as a guidescope for the new one. I've been looking at the 100ED DS as it now comes with a focal reducer that brings it down to F7.5, which should make it fast enough for photography.

I wondered if anyone has any experience of this scope with the focal reducer? Is it worth buying over the 80ED? I can't stretch to the 120.
