my first image (m31) after 2 months of rain

Recommended Posts

hi managed to get this over two nights. It's 23x3 min subs, plus darks & bias subtracted flats

I was quite pleased but the background is uneven and noisy, due to low sub length and the fact that the DSLR was not exactly cooled.

Is there any way of smoothing out the background to make the image more uniform?

Any feedback most appreciated:)
