Mr Astro
Hi there,After spending a week imaging with Olly Penrice in Provence, this is our first image since returning to the UK. It was very low and taken under semi-hazy skies. It is a stack of 9 x 6 minute exposures taken at f/6.8 through my 8" LX200, with my Atik 314L+. Processed in Pixinsight and finished in Photoshop. All comments welcome. Would especially appreciate a comment from Olly!Dave and Zoe
Martin-Devon
Having had a go at this myself the last few nights I know how tricky this target is - low down & in the murk. You've captured a nice looking part of the claw there, so very well done.
ollypenrice
Hi Dave and Zoe, good to see you back in action. Boy, you like a challenge shooting low from your neck of the woods!I think the stars look a little larger than I'd expect and that could just be the haze. However, were you dead confident about focus? If so it's just the haze. You are very close in to the claw here and showing some remarkable details. A brave and successful crack at something very tricky from northern places.Olly
