Skywatcher 100ED

Ok so I need some help, very basic question. I have picked my first telescope that I want to buy which is the SKYWATCHER BLACK DIAMOND ED100. I cannot however figure out where to buy this scope at. My question is when I am looking on websites for the scope I can only find one listed as "SKYWATCHER PRO ED100-APO" I am wondering if these are the same scopes.... Wanna make sure I am buying the Black Diamond series as I have read these are made with higher quality tube...

Hiya JL, I may be wrong but it looks like you're after a Skywatcher Evostar which has the same optics and f/ratio as their Equinox range although the latter appears to be finished to a higher standard.

Before you make a decision you may want to read through this thread: The upshot being that in light of the OP, although the ED100 is a great OTA, at over 2.5x - 3x the price of a Tal 100rs, is that greater expense worth it?
