Mains power adapter for rq3 pro synscan

Hi all. So I've recently taken delivery or am eq3 pro synscan from FLO, fantastic service btw thanks Dave and martin. So anyway it came with a power cable with a cigarette lighter end on it so I presume I can power it through my car. But I would like to be able.to plug it in to the mains power supply in my observatory..... Whenever I get it finished! I saw an adapter online in Kaplan last night cig lighter on one end some sort of reducer inline I guess and a female cig end on the other side only 15 pounds. Anyone used anything like this know if it works?
