Looks like the Hyperion 24mm Aspheric is finally now available - with (according to translation) a '1.25" & 2" - case removable'! So I guess a hybrid 1.25/2 inch design.

Perhaps a bit like the Zoom, which also appears to have a 2" M45 nosepiece add-on.

But then I do like the "solidity" of 2" systems...

Somehow missed this thread.

I always wondered why Hyperions stopped at 21mm, so it's good to see this.

Interesting that the zoom is such a large eyepiece it's big enought to be a 2"!

I think the Aspherics would make a great contination of the series. (And a nice physical match) But, as I said somewhere else, I do worry that my (quite expensive!) 31mm doesn't seem THAT much better than a (more than somewhat!) cheaper Moonfish-y Widescan type 2"/32mm eyepiece. But I stand (indeed hope!) to be corrected on that one.

Really needs someone who "knows what they're doing" re. eyepiece reviewing...
