Advantages of 2"?

Hi guys,

What are the advantages of using a 2" t-adapter over a 1.25" when using a dslr? I can fit either to my scope, so would it be advisable to use the larger fitting?

It probably will come down to vignetting more than anything else, IMO.

I suppose using a 1.25" will be good if you already have a barlow which you plan to use? Having said that I have my camera directly connected to my scope though the T-mount and disassembled EP and rarely use a barlow.
