Sun filter

Hi,

I was watching an astronomy program a couple week back and the guy had some sort of solar/sun filter that he simply held up to the sun at arms length and it showed the shape of the sun perfect, it was like a square shape or rectangle, now ive done a google search but cant come up with what it was but i want one, any ideas what it would be called or where i can get one? Thanks

Yes I saw that programme and it looked like a piece of welder's glass. I don't know what he used but I guess you are aware solar film like this? It's what a lot of us use to attach to our scopes and binoculars to view the sun and is very safe to use providing you follow the instructions.
