HELP needed with autoguide scope

I've decided to go with a smaller guide scope for my StarShoot Autoguider. I bought a 8x50 scope but the StarShoot can't attach to the new scope. The opening in the scope and the StarShoot adaper are both the same size, but there are threads inside. Is there a down-converter I can get that will screw in to attach them together?

There are adapters that convert finder scopes to autoguiders on modern astronomy, don't know if it will fit your camera tho.

Those adapters from Bern at MA are great, I have one. Just need to make sure the nosepiece on the starshoot unscrews.
