The best reducer/corrector for a Celestron ASGT-C8

Recommended Posts

I have seen several different brands of reducers out there and I am new to this. I wish to use my Canon D40 for astrophotography. I am familiar with the reasons I need a reducer/corrector and just need to know what the consencus is on the best available brand/model.

Thanks,

Otis

I have used the Celestron 0.63x reducer-corrector which s fine. The same reducer-corrector is sold under different brand names. A 0.33x corrector should be avoided (really meant for very small CCD chips).

Thanks Miichael. I just wanted to get the one that gives the most desirable images. That seems to be the advice I'm getting from everyone.
