Noticed today for the first time that Skywatcher scopes are shown on celestrons product page now. The show the a Skywatcher too so the net closes now it seems.

Yeah I realise that, I was just surprised to see both names on the one site now.

I have also heard that new updates for the goto handsets will have similar firmware to Celestron which has always been considered better than SW.

I really do think this is a good sign and also gives more credence to us owners of SkyWatcher scopes who sometimes feel that we have bought because of price and not necessarily the best product when in fact they are in many ways the same [ieces of equipment.

Interesting to hear about the handsets as well, though I have a CG5GT mount so have the Celestron handset anyway.
