Help with skyliner 150p, what is the 2" eyepiece for?

Hi, I assumed it was the SLR attachment but i can't get it to connect to the scope (there is no way to screw it in, it's like it doesn't fit my scope) have they sent me the wrong thing or something, or am i being stupid and can't figure it out?

Are you sure you do not have a 1.25 adaptor in the focusser. In which case, take it out and your 2" ep will slot in.

No i took it out and it slots in but it falls out, it's loose in the focuser. Is it not meant to be a tight fit or something?

The 150 has a 2" focusser with a 1.25" adaptor to accept the supplied eyepieces which are also 1.25". I suspect what you are taliking about is not an EP!
