200p Mirror Cover

Is there a cover plate or a cage for the bottom of the 200p tube?

If it's a reflector, a shower cap over the end will work fine. Don't know if an actual end cap exists for that scope. You can also use one on the other end.

Yeah I have ordered a few shower caps of Amazon.. but i thought i seen folk with little cages over the mirror or similar.. Only got the scope today.. with a cheshire collimator the whole collimating thing is a little daunting!!

The eq mounted version has one. Personally i use an old wooly hat.

I made a fan mod which is the bottom of a black bucket, with a hole in the middle for the fan. It slots over the end of the tube with about an inch lip... Food for thought...

Cheers Jimmy.. I like the idea of some form of protection for the mirror, especially if i'm moving it around!!
