Anyone here purchased and used the Orion StarShoot Solar System Color Imaging Camera IV? im considering purchasing it, but was wondering what types of feedback yall have for it. thx!

Also will this type of Imaging Camera work on a Celestron Astromaster 114eq?

It's not a popular camera. It should work with a Newtonian, and if it would have problems with focus - add a 2x Barlow (that would be used even so to get bigger focal length for planets).

you could always try MS life cam ... its 25-35 eur on e-bay modded looks pretty much same specs

any suggestions for a webcam i can purchasefor around the same price? That Doesnt require modifications or alterations of any sort? dont raelly want to glue 8mm film canisters or w/e some folks round here do with other webcams...

Want sometihng out of the box that i can slap on my telescope and film say jupiter or the moon w/e.

Just not into the whole "build it your self" thing.

There are adapters for LifeCams - Welcome to Billetparts.co.uk / FDOS Design - - MS Lifecam Adapter - you just have to unscrew few things from the webcam and place it in that adapter.

It's pretty easy and they really do look like a professional camera when your finished I modded mine in no time.

Well worth the effort and the billetparts chasis is slick
