Help, again!

After finally aligning my Nexstar Celestron, I asked it to find the moon in the solar system, it found nothing again, it was about 180 degrees out, I ask it to find Venus and it goes towards Polaris although I can't see anything, I'm seriously thinking about taking it back to the shop, any suggestions.

Sounds serious - I don't know the scope but would say it sounds like a human error... Correct date, position, summer time etc?
