First EQ mount upgrade - Advice please

I am upgrading from my first scope (Nexstar 127) and have taken onboard all the advice on here around buying a really decent mount - maybe even before committing to the OTA.

I was originally considering the NEQ6 but really like the looks of the CGEM and wondered if anyone has any thoughts / experience in how these 2 compare?

Am looking at a larger Mak as my next, something like a 180 or the C9.25, and my use is for more around lunar / planetary viewing, not so much AP.

Any help really appreciated!
