synscan goto upgrade or not?

HI peeps!

I'm in two minds as to wether I should upgrade my EQ5 mount with a synscan upgrade kit or buy a new EQ5 with the goto already factory fitted.

Has anyone ever upgraded theirs and is it as good as having one factory fitted.

Have you considered a S/H HEQ5 instead?

Sell the EQ5, add the cost of the upgrade kit, add maybe 50-100 more and you're in the money for one off ABS.
