Meade LX6 2120 controller problems

So, i have a Meade lx6 that has an lx5 controller. Basically its the same controller, except that the controller doesn't have the digital display. I understand this controller is supposed to work. I can tell that the scope is tracking correctly when hooked up to the 12 volt supply, but the controller isn't working. No east/west movement or north/south. one button, or maybe two illuminate the led on the top, but no movement. It doesn't even make a sound. Anything obvious that I'm missing?

Hi Matt

If the RA drive is working then at least you can track objects after manually finding them.

As the motors are pulse driven the controllers are difficult to fault-find.

Join the "MEADE - LX5 - LX6" yahoo group and post your problem there.

You might be able to aquire a replacement used controller via that site.
