Finally found the RGB histogram in GIMP, think its helped bring out the fainter parts in a more natural looking colour. There was only ever approx 3 mins of data at varying exposure lengths (all @ISO 800) so I've probably been a little heavy handed in the processing.

Any suggestions, comments, critique welcome as always.
