how to align the polar scope with the mount

hi all so frustrated at the minute with this,when i screw it into my g gem mount and look through it the cross hair is not square,now do i slightly loosen it off to get it running level,theres two grub screws i do not understand how to do it the paper work does not much sense

when screwed up tight its miles of not really sure how to do this
