Finally got a couple of hours of clear moonless skies to try out the Canon 200mm f2.8L II USM lens on the moded 1000D...

The camera was mounted on a B&S head on the EQ3-Pro which was Polar Aligned with the Polarscope and Sidereal Tracking selected (no star alignment) and run unguided... This will most likely be my main SGL7 Setup so just trying it out before the event...

The lens was stopped down to f3.2 which gives the "spikes" so I need to make up some front mounting aperture masks...

Exposure 60x60s + 60x30s + 60x15s Entropy Weighted Average stacked in DSS with Flats and Bias (no Darks)

A couple more hours needed to bring out more dust...
