not got my scope yet clear sky tonight first time for weeks used my little 10x25 binos and with the help of stellarium identified jupiter venus betelgeuse rigel and sirius before cloud moved in i know this does not sound a lot to you guys but to me a first time wow!

Sounds like a great start - pretty much the first objects I identified when I first started - still get that excited feeling even 5yrs later - Congrats!!
