Hi everyone,

Just bought a geoptik bag for my explorer 150 pl. Now I can decide where to store it but I have came across another question.

Is it best to store it vertical or horizontal?

Hi Scott. If you have a reflector, I think it's best stored horizontally so that any dust that gets trapped in the tube is less likely to fall on the mirror.

But of course it takes up more room that way, so if you cap the scope (after checking that it is not damp) then vertical is ok.
