I'm looking to get into CCD imaging and I'm eying the Orion SSDS mono imager III and also the Orion StarShoot mono G3. I'm leaning towards the first one since it has a larger CCD but I would also like to try out the newer imager and do a review on it. My price limit is $1,000.

Does anyone on the forum use the SSDS mono imager III, is there any links to photos from the imager?

Would it be possible to buy the G3, review it before 30days is up and then return it and then buy the SSDS mono imager III?
