Philip's Planisphere query

I have one of these Planispheres and hope it will be useful to find my way round the night sky.

In the instructions it says "the oval map shows the entire sky, with the horizon around the edges and the overhead point marked by a blue cross in the middle"

Can someone enlighten me as to what this blue cross is? I'm afraid I can't see a blue cross!

If you look at the Planisphere from the south position, follow it up to just under the 60 degree mark and you will see it.

It is a very faint, small blue cross.I had a hell of a job trying

to find it.I did not know it was even there.At least i know how to use it now:iamwithstupid:Learn something every day.

Thank you very much- I have now found it. You would think they would have made it bigger and clearer to spot!
