Power for skymax 127 supatrak

I am waiting for delivery of my new skymax 127 on a supatrax mount. I hear batterries dont last long.

So can I use rechargeablies.

What other power source can I use?

Don't think so.. 8 AA batteries would give you 1.5v each giving you the 12v you need.

Rechargeable batteries are normally 1.3v only giving you 10.4v which isn't enough.

I looked into it as I didn't really want a Power Pack but gave into it in the end

I ended up buying that Maplin 3in1 Power Pack and it's spot on!
