LP filter problem

Hi all,

Im supposeing im not the first to have this problem,

When using my dslr with the usual t thread adapter nosepiece I can focus ok but have to use a barlow, but If I put the DSLR directly onto the t thread mount of the scope I am unable to use the LP filter due to no thread there to take it, so images get the usual orange glow to them, how do you overcome this problem?
