BST Explorer ED 8mm

I took delivery of a BST Explorer ED 8mm yesterday. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I noticed that the eye cup twists up/down. Is this for focusing or for widening the field of view? The EPs that came with my SW 200p do not have any adjustment so I just wondered about the procedure for focusing with a BST? Do you focus with the OTA focuser 1st and then with the BST explorer? Any advice would be appreciated.

It's for increasing the eye relief to make it more comfortable for you. It does not affect the focus/fov.
