DIYASTRO Posted January 28, 2012 Share Posted January 28, 2012 Not sure if this helps much but I made some notes some time ago for eq6 motors and drive electronics / handboxMy notes say that the synta stepper motor and the gear box at normal speed is 1 rev / 480sec. (8 mins)2x speed 1 rev 240 sec (4 mins)8x speed 1 rev 60 sec (1 min)16 x speed 1 rev 20 sec.I did build a barn door and used the 8x speed option with a 1mm pitch thread but cannot find any notes as to the spacing from hinge to pivot point.
