Hey everyone. A little advice is needed.

I have a Skywatcher 114/500 and all the bits needed to attach Canon 550D to it.

Unfortunately they are on an EQ1 mount (came with the telescope , I got the scope years ago).

Looking to upgrade, would an EQ3 Pro be able to cope with that sort of weight. Looked up weight of camera and its ~600g and the scope is 2.4kg not including rings I think. Could the mount work with a ETX-125 if it was mounted appropriately with a DSLR too? Not heard good things about using Meade Deluxe Tripod for imaging.6709642393 managed to get this with EQ1 and 114/500
