Questions about EQ mount.

I just borrowed a 114 Newtonian scope on a EQ mount, but I have some struggling understanding HOW to polar align.

I think I understand the basics work, but there are some numbers "on" the mount, I'm not sure what they're called so I can't google it. But I think they got something to do with the equatorial grid in Stellarium, it would make it a loooot easier to navigate the telescope for me.

Can somebody tell me or show me a video where somebody explains how to use the numbers?

To be honest, on that mount there is no point as the numbering wouldn't be accurate enough.

They are called setting circles... googling "using an equatorial mount" will give you lots of ideas, here's one for starters Setting Circles

David Fuller's Eyes on the Sky has an excellent tutorial video on polar aligning an equatorial mount. I never really "got" it until watching this video:

EDIT: Incidentally, the scope I used this video to help me polar align was a 114mm reflector.
