Focal reducer?

Hi all, I need some help with this..I have a Phillips Toucam ii with which I had some success with a 4.5 newtonian reflector, moon and saturn for example. However I now nave a Meade ETX 80 AT, and I cannot seem to be able to obtain any image at all, it does not even seem to focus. Do I need to buy a focal reducer. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you directly attaching the camera to the scope or are you using a diagonal or extension tube between the camera and scope?

Hi,just slide the toucam adaptor into the eyepiece holder of the telescope, as I did with the reflector.

If you have a diagonal or extension tube attach the camera to this and you should be able to reach focus.
