Collimating SW 200p Dobsonian

I'm trying to collimate using a cheshire but there's no way i can get the three primary clips within the field of view. Is this normal? Is there something else i can use as a guide?

Don't worry too much about not seeing all 3 mirror clips with the Cheshire sighttube.

Andy I have exactly the same issue with my Helios (fore runner to your scope).

I cannot see all three clips either.

I use a cap to check the position of secondary and then use a laser to do the collimating.

If the secondary is too small then it will be impossible to see all three clips. It should be fairly obvious if this is the case. In this instance just concentrate on centring the donut under the cross-hair of the sight-tube.
