Night Has A Thousand Eyes

I was recommended "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes" by Arthur Upgren, in a thread on this forum a few months back, I think probably by Tetenterre.

It's the most compelling book about the night sky I've ever read, and brilliantly combines factual information with an understanding of what has drawn people to the stars and planets since the dawn of human history.

It's made me realise that no matter how much I love using my telescope, the naked-eye sky is what first attracted me to star-gazing, and it's what will keep bringing me back to it.
