Live Observing Web Sites? Beginners Take Note!

Recommended Posts

A few years ago I remember going to a few web sites where astronomers hooked up their scopes with cameras and fed the images live through their computers and onto the web.

Does anyone know of these sites presently active? Not only are they fun to watch but they can be a valuable tool for beginners - showing them what to expect when observing DSOs in moderate sized scopes. Because I have not had internet access for a few years untill now, I would like to visit these sites again if anyone knows the web addresses.

Thanks for any help you might have. Mr Q

Thanks for the info. I'm having trouble registering to the site but it's just what I was looking for.
